Our Environment
- Threats are facing the biodiversity in our only one planet “The Earth”. SUDAPET always endeavors to strike a balance between securing energy needs and maintaining the ecosystem balance. As such SUDAPET consistently and stringently addresses all types of soil contamination, water, and air pollution through implementation of firm integrated management system at all oil fields. Worth to highlight that proper handling of produced water by means of specialized bioremediation projects resulted in enriching the environment and provided attractive habitat for endangered species such as reptiles, birds and forest wildlife elements, such approach proved to be viable and confirmed to be adopted in all producing concessions.
- An important strategic objective of adopting bioremediation projects is to contribute in the global aim to reach net zero emissions. In this context, the plantation of forests provides a considerable sink.

- We do appreciate the human rights of our workforce and the local community living around and near our concession areas. Effective communication is our key to understand the basic concerns of the local community as well as the appropriate projects for community development in terms of provision of drinking water and health care services whenever practically affordable. Most important here we are taking the lead in the awareness programs assigned to local communities living nearby our operation sites focusing on conservation of environmental ecosystems.
